im not a fan of either manufacturer
both robbing the customers with thier high end phones.
however the z3+ with SD810 has much better performance. + 3 Gb RAM
ip68 water resistant - but the sony no more recommand submerge under water. - but who does it? not developed for underwater camera... if gets splashed not gonna die - that is what water resistant means.
while the samsung has only SD615 + 2GB RAM
and fingerprint sensor.
the battery packs almost the same.
z3+ 2930 mAh / a8 3050 mAh
sony has smaller display
sony has higher CPU speed and the ?SD810 overheat issue?
samsung has a better brightness

I have 35days a8 experience
Performance :- performance wise very good no hanging issue when u use split view feature that time also given very good performance no hanging issue all apps or games working very smoothly
Battery :- battery backup very nice battery charging speed very fast then normal phones batter power saver and ultra power saving features avaliable in phone
Look and design :- all my friends like my phone specially design screen size 5.7 inch but normally fit in hand because design is very good and less bazel and very slim 5.9mm screen minimise feature available for one hand operating
Otg and memory card :- a8 support otg cable and 128gb memory card
Security :-Samsung own security app avaliable in a8
Samsung my knox available for your personal information secure perpose
A8 is very good phone performance and look wise

I am not seticefide for this divise cause it's going to very heating and hanging & sound quality is not to good, video is not playing properly............

I want to buy galaxy a8 but i heard the gaming is good but not the best and heating problem also and it has low speaker quality should anyone suggest me the best gaming phone under 30000 or a8 is a good choice

Overall an amazing phone. But only thing is that the back side battery case sealed is plastic. Not metal. And there is no corning gorilla glass 4. But in store while taking they said it Is a full body metal phone. No ways.
Pros:
Excellent camera
Fingerprint works awesome
Slim design and premium look
Cons:
Heating problem
Oly 2gb ram
Bit high price
I would rate 3.5/5.
Overall a good phone.

I ask the worker there and they said it is Gorilla Glass 4. I think it doesn't matter that much because today you have option to buy tempered glass protector for your phone.
Better you buy tempered glass than just hoping that the "Gorilla" Glass is enough to handle all scratch and fall. Why not spend few bucks to protect your device that cost hundreds, right ?
