Mateo, 27 Mar 2019How is the battery life after Android 9 update?Android Pie on A8 2018 is almost the same with Oreo, its slightly better though if you go by the numbers. At first day after upgrade you may notice faster battery drain but its the adjustments it makes and secondary updates. People always say that OS upgrades are bad, NO they are not. Especially in mid range phones which receive extensive testing just like flagships.

clueless, 04 Apr 2019Samsung galaxy A8 or Samsung galaxy S10e???...pros and cons... moreWell the a8 is only available in certain countries, but it is a lot cheaper then the s10e at around $600, and has basically the same specs as the s8 and s9. The s10e is newer and more powerful, but comes in at over $1000. They are both great phones, but very different price ranges and specs.

Same here in Bulgaria. Its on 1st february security patch.. Yesterday I asked samsung support and they said April, but nothing more...

It will fix the situation and the A8 2018 will receive it soon! However, the A8 2018 and the A5 2017 are the only hi mid-range models that get updated every month! even the new A9 with Snapdragon 660 does not receive every month update !!!

Its april now, and still no sign of when we get the pie update in canada. It honestly makes no sense that the lower end phones get the pie update before we do. (the device that has basically that Same specs as the s8 and partially the s9...
