Gigi, 31 Mar 2019March is over and still no update in Romania...Yes ! A8 2018 is still blocked on February 1, 2019! Even those with A6 + received update at 9.0 Pie! and for the A5 2017 security package arrived on Saturday, March 30th

Any individual country uses only a few of these. A phone sold for use in a particular country usually supports the 4G bands in current use in that country but may not work in other countries (but 3G should usually work).

M E R O, 30 Mar 2019Thanks for the reply.. I bought a8 2018 from days and I don... moreDo not be disappointed, Galaxy A8 2018 is still the most complete mid-range phones to beat. It lacks the secondary camera only to get fun with that camera.
If anyone said that the camera quality of A50 is better than A8, it is not true 100% because we can not notice the difference between two practically. It may be different on paper but not in our daily usage.
All the rest, A8 is still better than A50.

A8 2018 of course is old, it is the last year phone. It may look worse now but it is just a look. The A8 2018 was positioned just below the flagship S8/S9 at the time it was launched. So, the material quality is on the TOP. The A8 2018 lacks the more RAM, the secondary camera and the trendy display. The chipset...hm you wont notice it practically.
A50 is recently new and of course it has many fun features like secondary back camera, trendy display, trendy color of back casing etc. So if you need those feature, it is better to have A50. And do not forget, there will be A70 and A90 which is above A50. And I am sure you will be confused again and again.

Even when watching youtube for more than an hour and half (i.e movie), I never feel hot on my hand, just little bit warm. So far so acceptable.

Yes, I have. I am a Xiaomi lover and still using it as secondary phone. Before using my first Samsung (which is A8 2018), I always use Xiaomi as my daily drive. My mom always tell me that my Xiaomi is hot when she is chatting with the family, using mine. And I feel the same. Well, it is still touch-able but it is what I feel HOT (more than warm). I am still Xiaomi lover anyway.
I am using 2 brands in this Android world. I appreciate this Samsung for this matter.

If you want to try other new brand i.e this Samsung, why not? This phone is no more than good but no less than good with the premium material like the flagship.
About 32Gb? Well, for me, it is enough as there is dedicated slot for microSD (not shared one). I just need the most important apps that is working for me.
About the battery? Even for the flagship of any brands has the same problem. You must know that A8 2018 is only having 3000mAH, so it is not enough for the whole of the day/24H, but it is sure enough for the working hours/8-9H. In my usage, this phone lasts for at least 12H.
The fast drain battery? Oh well, actually I do not really care with this problem as the battery for any phone is such a "nothing last forever" thing.

I am using Galaxy A8 2018 as my daily drive but never get the heat problem. I am Xiaomi lover, using it till now and I feel Xiaomi phone is heater more than this A8. Sorry for hearing your heat problem.

So basically i bought this phone like 4 days ago and there's one thing that still bothers me.When doing normal tasks (like browsing) the phone is getting around 30-33C. I don't really know is that normal or not.I have searched on the internet for problems like this and it says that around 30C is good.But I fell like this shouldn't be like this , when i'm holding the phone it feels really warm (not hot tho ,idk how 2 explain)If there's someone with A8 pls give me some help if this is normal on not.Thx
