I think this is good all round phone. It has many features like NFC, super AMOLED display, water resistant, and more. This phone is far beyond average phone but not close to flagship phone. All common features is mostly great.

I bought yesterday from Orange Romania A8 2018 and I mean it is brilliant! The better display than the A5 2017 comes close to an S8 !! And until April 2019 we have 9.0 Pie with One UI !! It seems like I have an inspired choice!

I am proud of galaxy A8 2018, it has dual front camera the one and only until S10 plus comes. But I am still proud that only 2 phones has it, even S10 not lite does not have this.

Why are there no talks, leaks, rumours anything at all concerning the successor of this phone? Like A8 2019 or A9, or A10 2019 or it won't have a successor?

I heard and read that a8 was a tough guy when it comes to playing games because I will be using it for 3 or 4 years, no less. Its ok if not perfect but I would like to play with higher graphics

If you compare call quality between redmi and A8 2018, I choose A8 2018 as it is clear and not hot so quickly when calling. That is one of few considerations why I try Samsung Galaxy and choose A8 2018 as my first Samsung.

BARADI, 01 Jan 2019Would I go for Samsung Galaxy A8(2018) or Huawei Nova 3?Depend on your brand preference, Huawei or Samsung. For me, I prefer Xiaomi for original Chinese brand and Samsung in 2018s for other brands. I do not like Samsung before 2018.
