Does anyone know how to open the back of this phone to check the battery or sim card?
How can I download dictionary for WhatsApp in this phone?

I own this phone and it has an audio stutter problem while audio is played through loudspeaker. It seems that a lot of people have this problem and for now it's only being fixed in the US via an software update. As for the rest of the world Samsung doesn't seem to care.

Dear Friends,
I am facing a problem with my newly bought Samsung Galaxy A8 phone. The problem is, when I use "imo" app for VOIP call and in the same time if a normal phone call comes to my phone during that VOIP call over "imo" app:; either i receive that normal phone call or not, when me or other party disconnect the normal call, my phone restarts automatically. For your info the software versions of my phone is, Android version - 8.0.0, Samsung experience version - 9.0, Kernel version - 4.4.13-13824581-QB19264948. Is it a software bug or my phone has a problem. Please someone help me. kindly let me know how i can get rid of this problem.

hi friends,i got A8 3 days back and i am facing fast battery drain,on 100 % charge.i use skype video call for 20 minutes and battery goes to 93%.is it normal or problem with my battery.if anyone have idea plz explain,

Ok, I went to the store to test the phone and the video stabilization has the ability to be disabled (which is cool), and the focus hunting can be stopped by tapping on the screen while recording (this locks the focus). I bought the phone and will share personal review soon.

Anonymous, 25 Aug 2018you clearly don't know what a notch is.....I think he does. I also didn't pick a phone with a notch just because I think it doesn't look that good compared to thin bezels. That's why I like the S8/A8/S9 etc design.

Can the video stabilization be disabled? I don't like how blurry it looks, in fact It looks worse than my A5(2016) that has OIS.
Also, can the constant focus hunting somehow be stopped? In many test videos you can see the focus jumping as the scene changes even a little bit, it's quite irritating.

I have using a8 for a month now. It's a very good phone. Good battery life. Have a great selfie camera. But i think.. the rear camera are worst at low light. But ok for outdoor photoshot.
Updated oreo 2 weeks ago and nothing goes wrong.. the battery life still hold up for a day.
The speaker is no longer a problem. Smooth. Not a single hiccup.
I like this phone so much. Because i don't really like the edge screen so a8 is the best option for me.
