Only a few people here complain about audio cut out. On the Samsung US forum some people say it don't affect US version:

I don't understand from the chart it's exactly the same version and it seems like a software issue cause happen at the same time lapse of the sound in the video:

While Galaxy A8 has expandable storage, dual selfie cams, IP68 waterproofing.
In battery department A8 might have an edge over Mi 8 Se due to its smaller display. Now its totally upto you that which features you prefer more.

I don't like Samsung's button order where the back button is far right so I customised it so that I now have back button far left like in all other android devices.

Nour, 20 Aug 2018Nova 3i or Samsung A8 ?i have spent weeks on the same question . 3i looks and feels super but reading reviews in the brand there is just a feeling that there may be a few things that give the A8 the edge .
I ride bikes and a I.P rated phone would help but a ziplock bad works too..... ill keep the old A5 16 going for a while longer

Tho saying that I am not a vlogger and don't use the selfie cam other than for purely selfies.
The rear/main camera do have EIS am i correct?
Can you still customise the on-screen nav buttons underneath the main main screen can u?

I plan to get the Galaxy A8 due to positive reviews. But I have concerns and queries:
1. As per Samsung's "official" roadmap the Android Pie update remains slow & dates are ambigous (unlike Sony's)
2. Tho Samsung had made great improvements the UX's performance still feel sluggish by today's standards, non useful features and updates are again slower like before i.e. same year devices gets first priority-ish (S9, A8 & Note 9) and last year's devices gets second priority i.e. "early 2019" for the updates.
3. Does the selfie camera have autofocus, wide angle option and EIS?
4. Has the A8 been updated now to Oreo 8.0 & Samsung Experience 9.0?
