The latter only came out this year. Not sure what you mean by swiping area being close to the camera button when I have not experienced this problem and I have not encountered any reviews regarding this either. In terms of screen sensitivity, you know you can toggle the settings right? Normally when people complain it is due to the screen not being sensitive enough.

I have had other Samsung phones, but this is the worst so far. Got this Galaxy A8 last year and within a few months, I had to get a new speaker and change the built in battery. I've been frustrated with the swiping area being so close to the camera button. Thus, in swiping to unlock my phone, I'm always opening my camera at the same time. The overly sensitive screen is also "driving me crazy." I don't usually change phones often, but I'm already looking to get another cell phone!

But is not a very big difference...my father has s8 and my father's s8 lag after 8 months....
So samsung is not vary very smooth...
And for that im saying a8 is not a slow phone with a bad processor...

I... moreIt's a fact that Apple's A11 chip is the most powerful mobile phone SoC.
And no I'm not just talking about video editing. A8 won't lag in day to day use but the GPU in the A8 is weak, so it will struggle in demanding games. My point is that the extra power of the SD835/Exynos 8895 is not a gimmick and it indeed does make a difference in certain situations. You're telling A8+ is as fast as the S8.. that's utter nonsense.
Also, there are things like the ISP, modems, etc. that gives the SD835 advantages over the Exynos 7885. A SoC isn't just about the CPU and GPU.

If you see video edition than buy iphone x who is more and more faster than s8 or s9...and with your logic iphone x is far better and faster than s8 or note 8 cuz there has the same processor...for me not maybe for you...

Eriii, 21 Apr 2018If you're not blind go and see videos in youtube speed test... moreThose speed tests are pointless. Throw some demanding game or intensive task like video editing/file compressing and then you'll see the difference. 7885 will struggle to keep up.
If you want to watch speed tests, watch only PhoneBuff style speed tests.

Hi, I've had my A8 2018 for 3 weeks. In the past two weeks, horizontal flickering/jumping lines are on the lock screen, home screen, occasionally in some apps. Is anyone else having this issue? or is my phone faulty?
