AnonD-732240, 21 Jan 2018S7 is a flagship A8 is midrange this by itself means a lotS7 is a flagship of 2016, A8 is an upper midranger of 2018. Honestly I'd get the A8 just for the better support (S7 will reach EOL soon), better design, USB type C and the significantly better battery life.

My A5 2017 has a few features which some flagships still lack. But I don't think if the 2017 A phones were priced this high when they released.
The A8 is undeniably a great phone, but at this price, it's hard to recommend it. After a few months, prices should come down, making it a more attractive option.

I end up buying Note FE for three reasons:
1. Almost the same price to A8 2018 in philippines
26,990 for A8 2018 while 27,990 for Note FE
2. Has better specs, bigger battery, and mighty S-PEN
and finally,
3. Has MORE FEATURES THAN THAT FREAKIN' MID-RANGER!!!

Its show'd up in my country. 489 euro for A8 2018. Meanwhile, LG G6 is 439e, P10 is 452e, Xiaomi Mi 6 445e and Sony XZ1 is 517e. Why to give this much for mid range when most flagship cost less.

I feel like Samsung started to overprice midrange phones. If they continue like this, they will be overtaken by Huawei.

Rale , 18 Jan 2018I'll buy LG g6 for 400€ instead.. G6 has one of the worst flagship battery lives. If Battery is important, A8 is the way to go, chipset is good enough for daily tasks and most games.
