Just tried it...ugly boxy phone with big bezels. Super heavy and thick. Expensive brick. How Samsung can make such a ugly phone when they can make also the great S8 ? No wonder Oppo and Vivo are growing fast. Nicer phones for less money. The Note and S series are now the only Samsung phones worth of interest. Wake up Samsung !

I read rumours samsung went mad this year with its A series like they would kill a3 and a5 to only have same number in budget and flagship so the reason for an A8. But pardon me 15cm phone weighing 172grams? Where are the minis samsung? Is it really done and over? This company has a huge portfolio of mobiles they need to trim it down but sad if they only differentiate them by colours and price/performance. I hope chinese or new players going against tides, small is the new great. Even A3 was too big and heavy. I deeply wish 5mm thick max 120-130mm tall phones with the amoled displaying things that matter all the time

Many better phones are available in this price segment why would one go for this considering its lack of features. It is indeed overpriced.

I bought one unit Note FE on last night.Because GPU have T880_mp12 compared with Mali G71_mp1 or 2.I think the old T880_mp12 will strong performance than the Mali G71_mp1 or 2.And the price are too high for this spec.The Note FE are selling RM2,199 on Malaysia market.Some retailers maybe can give u guy discount and more free gift.So what reason we must choose this A8(2018)?
