kcb, 23 May 2016thanks for the reply. for 4000mah battery it should last mo... morei'm getting around 2days battery life with SOT 7-8hours. i think this is much better than the Samsung J7. which is also the reason i skipped the J7 over the A9 because of the battery life and also the fingerprint unlock (waaaayyy saves me time to unlock my phone as im required to use a password for my emails).
i'm now thinking of giving this as a gift to wifey and get my self the A9 PRO :) and yes, no marshmallow yet as I have the HK version - the China version already has the marshmallow via OTA update.

Do note in the SIM settings menu you have to select one of the two SIM slots for "Data" and cannot use 4G from both SIM1 and SIM2 at the same time. When either SIM is selected for "Data" the other SIM will fallback to 2G (i.e. Voice and SMS only). Whenever you want to switch 4G from SIM1 to SIM2, just go into Settings / SIM Card Manager to switch the slot used for "Data".

why people still searching for a9, no more galaxy a9. It is the time for a9 pro.
better battery (more than 10 hour SOT with 2 sim active in 3g for 3day use may get even more usage with power saving) , better ram, android 6.0. fast and very responsive. just 30$ higher than a9. I can say it is better than s7 edge or note 5. samsung didn't release it as international version for now because it may affect the selling of their higher priced phones.

They say that samsung already released the android marshmallow update for this phone in China. Will they release it in other countries. A9 user here. Still no update.

Kcb, 19 May 2016what about the screen on time with daily usage of this mobi... morescreen time for me is 7-8hrs but i only have 3g when i go home (i use waze when driving to and from work). wifi is always on when i got home. ave usage is 2days, as wifi is always almost on and i have my company email on sync (thats the main reason i got this phone anyways). sometimes i get 3days when i dont check emails that much (happens on the weekends). batter life is great considering the size of the screen. im using low brightness (auto), and power saver (turns off lights on capacitive buttons,etc).
given the chance ill be buying this same phone (A9) again, but id probably get the A9 pro for more battery juice :)
