The pro version is not available on the store at that time and also the pro version is thicker than the regular A9
They said the A series will get a nougat update soon but the the ones listed are only A5 and A7
I am a Filipino, my hands are not gigantic, if you use the phone its very slippery and will really test your grip but what I did is I am using a Ringke Case and I also purchased a Ring Grip so using the phone is very easy > I can use it with just one hand to be exact

4.) How hot is the phone under heavy usage?
5.) How big is your hand (from wrist to the tip of the middle finger)(so I can compare it with my own)? Do you find it difficult managing a phone with that size? Does it fit inside your pocket?

It would have lasted longer if you tested it with wifi-on instead,
and I heard that Facebook app takes a lot of battery... So good for A9!
I'm also glad to hear that it has enough RAM storage, I worried a little worried about that...

Sorry for the late reply, I had to test it first to provide most accurate information.
**w/ brightness in 50% > using the mobile data of the phone it lasted me 8 hours and 25 minutes before I got notified that the battery is in15%. I was on youtube live streaming the superbowl and also on facebook.
**I haven't tested it using WIFI yet.
**RAM is more than enough > games don't lag at all. Multitasking is comparable to flagships.
**also I have MInecraft on the phone and I notice that this game is pretty hard on the battery.

How long does it last if u use if for full web-browsing with 50% of screen brightness?
I hope it does last far longer than my Galaxy S7...
I don't expect the amazing battery life of Mi Max or Redmi 4 Prime but still expect alot.
Also is it enough to have just 3gb of ram when u play games or do multi-tasking?

I have been using this phone for over a week now and here is my thought about the phone.
**display is amazing > crisp and clear graphics > dont worry about the flicker issue it is not evident at all
**this phone's battery is amazing > I work 8 hours a day so I only use my phone on breaks and when at home > I leave my mobile data and WIFI on > and belive it or not I am now on my 3rd day w/o charging
**clearly targeted for performance hungry and business minded people
**not for selfie addicts > front camera is not that great
**I would suggest you choose a unified color A9 > mine is black front and gold back and its not that beautiful to look at.
**this has dual SIM + Micro SD

Anonymous, 07 Jan 2017My samsung a9 doesnot read sim cardwhen you first use your sim card with the phone please set the network to gsm only and do the manual network select then wait for a few while for it to connected to your telco network, after it has connected then you can change it to wcdma only or wcdma/gsm auto connect.

anonymous, 12 Jan 2017My a9 has just started downloading apps without notice the ... moreI think your google play was set to "auto-update apps". Open Google Play --> Settings --> General ---> Auto-update apps. Choose 'Do Not Auto-update Apps or uncheck any options that says app auto update.
