Hello everyone...Can anyone pls letmeknow if samsung has announced its official upgrade to android 2.3???
Also, in wat way is android 2.3 better than android 2.2 ??? I mean is it realy worth upgrading it to 2.3 ???

Are u using internet directly on phone or connecting it to a laptop (tethering)?
If u are using GPRS on phone itself, there should not be any problem in receiving the calls and messages.
But if u r tethring to another device (laptop for example) it is bound to happen.

Please an... moreDude the problem is with your network not phone its very common in all networks when you use a 2g network internet and you are downloading anything or data transfer is more then you wont receive any call or messages got it.. And this problem wont be there if you are using internet in 3g network.. 3g network is kinda multitasking network...dont blame the phone for this it depends on you

hi....i bought this galaxy ace nd battrry izzzz just so poor......the phone is really nice with good features but
1-battery too bad....
2-lots of application running at back.....
3-phone gets heat up while charging....
4-some application not supported by phone...
.....
can someone tell me some gud applications for download on my galaxy ace.....and from where....

I have bought samsung galaxy ace two days before. Please anyone help me for the issue:
I am not able to receive any calls or SMS when i am using internet connect. Please anyone help me how to avoid this issue.
1. Why we are buying smart phones with 3G?
Answer will be like: We can use internet connection as well as calls and fast access of all applications.
But here the problem i facing with galaxy ace is when i am using internet connect with 2g on android 2.3.4(ginger bird). I am not able receive any calls or messages. Earlier i have used NOKIA and micromax mobiles. Even if i use internet also i am able to receive calls. Even the small company micromax is good with this. Why samsung is not concentrated on this. Is there any settings or any option is have this facility. Please help me ASAP.
I there is no way to get calls when we are coneected to internet then dont buy this phone. Instead of this we can use one phone and TAB.

Go for xperia neo...:-). Its a very cool phone and soon will get ics update...dont go for ace it wont get any further updates

I brought samsung ace few days back..& started the issues..
Battery back is so poor remains max for 3hrs also it heats a lot during charging..done all things downloded Juice defender,APN,Advanced task killer.
Shown to service centre they also not done anything.poor feedback..Also nothing is visible in gallery sometimes after formating it wil come but it wil again disapper..fed up with phone..!!
Its really a good phone no douth but whats the use if you r unable to use it bcoz of battery issue..in short.its
"GOOD FOR NOTHING"
