These restarting hanging lagging problems which i see in the comments are taking me away from buying this phone...........are these problems so very common ?

so sad..my lovely device keeps lagging while typing sms.need to reboot everyday.firmware upgraded by kies,hard reset done,RAM cleared and below 200mb, homescreen widget cleared but still having lagging problem..anyone out there please give me more idea to troubleshoot....

Hello everyboby,
I bought this phone a weeks ago, and I find everything to be fantastic especially the photo and screen clarity.I just love this phone.But the problem is the battery life. If we use the phone for messaging continuously, the battery goes down, it stands for 5 to 6 hrs if I play a game. Otherwise it stands for 9 or 10 hrs. I have to charge it everyday.
Ok the next thing is, I installed many apps and games in my handset. Now my the internal memory left is just 30MB. Is there anyway / apps available to install all the apps in SD Card. Please help...

chaitu, 15 May 2011am confused in wat to buy..samsung ace or htc wildfire.... ... moreWhen it comes to mid range smart phones. Ace is the best. good quality cam, excellent sound clarity, user friendly interface and all. only thing that worries is the battery.
Since most of the apps require gps and once its turned on the battery drains quickly. RAM is only 256 MB where as in LG optimus one its 512 MB. Ace's 800MHz processor is widely believed to be an overclocked version of its 600MHz processor. I think you will get all the features on ace in optimus one as well, with a reduced price. So better you buy LG optimus one.

msnazmi, 15 May 2011hi sam..can u tell me how to upgrade the firmware??is it vi... morehey.....the firmware upgrade is through kies....just dwnload d latest version of kies (if u dont hv it ) frm samsungs website and when u connect ur phone it will automatically prompt u tht a firmware upgrade is available....

This phone is very awesome. The best thing i like about this phone is I download movie from torrent site using t torrent client, which i downloaded from android market.
for downloading i use WiFi net.:)

I wanna buy this phone after my nokia n78, everything seems to satisfy me about ace, i'm just a bit worried about the screen resolution, and the battery life.. How are they in real experience ?? Thanx in advance!

Hey guys i am using ace for 2months now . I am happy with its performance except YouTube first it was playing smoothly without any block but now its blocks very much . I am even unable to uninstall YouTube now pls help

hi everyone :) i'm planning to buy the ace in the next few days.my decision is almost final but some reviews say it's slow and and there's a noticeable lag.is that true??? other than that,the phone is a great deal.

I recently found a Mobo video player in Android Market that is rated well for all format. Can I install that in Ace, which only got a mediocre native player?
I also read rumour that the 2.3 upgrade brings video recording up to VGA at 30 fps. Anyone can confirm this?

hi all .
i ma using galaxy ace from 3 months ...its a good fon overall
the only problem which i have seen is it hangs often after which u have to remove the battery..and also my wifi is always on and i use live wallpaper so i have to charge it every day..but if u switch them off the the performance is good

Solution is remove some of your widgets from the homescreen, and if you have buddymessenger or any social networking app, EXIT from them, coz they run in the background even if you are not using them.
Also, if internal memory dips to only 10mb FREE / available, then you might have slow down. Delete apps you dont need from internal memory, to correct this.
