I also have more than 4000 messages stored in different folders in my Nokia E72, and andoid does not offer any such support. So if ur messaging is an important part of ur mobile needs, keep yourself to nokia.

I m using nokia symbian phone since 2 years. I really love my handset. Now on my b'day i m going to buy a new handset. I really want to try new android os. I have some querries about this handset. In nokia handset there is nice option in messaging application called 'my folder' where we can save our messages by making folders as per our choice like all love messages i have saved in 'love' folder, all jokes messages i have saved in 'jokes' folder which i have created as per my choice. Does this handset also support similer type of function? Because i have nearly 3500+ sms in mobile which are very valuable for me...!

Neither did I say Android is perfect. It is far from perfect... But I know for a fact it is alot less buggy than Symbian. I owned a Symbian phone for 2 years. At first it was exciting (still not as exciting as Android).. but further down the line there were so many software bugs I had to give up on it.
I haven't been looking at Nokia phones recently to know exact specs of phones today, but a few of my friends own the C7, and I can say it is a far inferior phone to the Galaxy Ace. Ofcourse the screen on the Ace is pathetic, but overall build quality of the Ace is quite nice. Samsung's phone cameras in general are of higher quality than Nokia. A 5MP picture taken on the Ace vs an 8MP picture taken on the C7, you will clearly notice a better image from the Ace.
Anyway, my argument is not hardware, it is software. Having used both Symbian and Android, I truly enjoy the Android experience for both aesthetic quality and productivity. By the way, check out the Samsung Galaxy S2, amazing specs on that one.

I expected it to be a decent upgrade for a Samsung Galaxy Spica (i5700) but the display and built quality are way inferior, it's slower and the only positive seems to be improved 3d drivers, new Android version and camera flash. Design is also above average but you won't avoid these Iphone rip-off jokes. Oh and the price tag is ridiculously high. It's a mid-end smartphone and feel like a lower-mid end yet is priced almost like a high-end. It even makes Iphone jokes even less inevitable ;)

Mine even lasts less than a day because I'm always connected to the internet and I constantly browse too. I'm getting an extra battery from samsung :) not a problem. I think touch phones are really bad with battery consumption.

Mr Lakpa u want to check my tech knowledge? I work with 3 global services as senior engineer for handset speciallist team.
I have used 150 odd mobiles till the date (smart phones and not the chp phone like c6-01). so keep your tiny little brain with you and try to scale ur technical knowledge with it. I knew ur cant afford 2gb ram also thats why u want to stick to windows xp with 256 mb ram. n for god's sake xp is no longer the best operating system mate. read news papers if they are affrdable for you...you will get answers to your own questions over there. I am sure about it.

I have tried so many advanced phone models and brands.
I always use the most recent sophisticated and stylish hardware.
And I have to say that the Samsung Galaxy Ace is really, really good.
Just Samsung has to make sure that its going to receive the next Android version 2.3.
Do not hesitate to buy it if you are thinking to.
