I'm quite interested to Galaxy Alpha.
I want to know, whether the charging speed is fast? I mean the charging is fast enough to overcome the low battery usage? Like the iphone, it's low battery capacity but charging is fast enough to full. Hope you know what I meant.

Recently Samsung has introduced an official extended 2500mAh battery + cover, the phone gets little thicker but camera doesnt protrude anymore. Anybody any experience with this new battery? How much the battery life has been improved and by how much the phone is thicker vs original battery?

The phone is just perfect. I 've got the Gold Color and seriously, i'm impressed from Samsung. Beats the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 that i had before that- it's not an easy transition from a Note to a smaller phone but it's a great phone- speed,performance, environment, style, grip. Just great. I highly recommend it.

chandu, 06 Feb 2015Whether it will support usb otg..?Yes..Alpha supports USB OTG without any issue..even you can attach any PC Key Board & PS2 mouse in to it...works perfectly fine..

I have it now,my opinion it's the 2nd best Samsung smartphones or in the world
and if you worried about the battery don't worry it will show you the mean of battery life

Lollipop 5.0 don't really give you any much difference already. Happy with your current version 4.4.4.
Anyway, it soon will be updated to 5.0 and it's in the top list.

Do you expect this 1870mah power battery to perform like phones with huge battery back up??..with my usage pattern, this phone can take me up to 4 or more hours of OST with data enable all the time. Considered that to be good with such big power processor inside. Peace..

no memory card ..Have you ever heard the name "Data Cable" ? if yes connect ALPHA with your laptop by data cable and transfer the files...
