I am using Samsung Galaxy Alpha since last one month. I have used many phones such that Sony Xperia Z3, Sony Z1 Compact, HTC One, HTC one mini, Blackberry Z 30 etc. To my mind, this is the best phone I have ever used. It is nicely built, very light weight and very fast. Screen size is perfect. Screen is sharp and bright. Ofcourse, screen is not as sharp as full HD screen,but, there is not much difference practically. Some people comment adversely regarding battery of this phone as it is only 1860 mAh. I have observed practically that battery life is not less than most of the phones of this category and it works for one full day if used for normal call and internet. For me, it works for complete two days only for calling. I have searched that Samsung has made some power saving modifications in the hardware of this phone to improve battery life. I have observed that these modifications in the hardware certainly works to improve battery life. So, only considering that a 1860 mAh battery, which is not in line with most of the phones of this category, it is not good to give adverse comment without using the phone. Samsung has done really a very good job to design this phone for its best ever look, very light weight and easy to hold. I certainly recommend this phone to everybody who want a very good looking and light weight smart phone.

Snapdragon 615 is worst ... moreDon't exagerate, SD615 is an update of SD600 (found in S4 last year) with 64bits and h265 support among other new features.
So it's quite good actually even if not as good as Alpha's Exynos (which isn't 64bits so less "future proof" for long term keeping).

Don't know about battery on 3g network , never used .

Hi guys. Currently I'm using Sony Xperia P which has a bad battery backup. Thinking to buy Alpha which again has some mixed reviews about battery backup. Don't want to end up buying a phone with poor battery backup again. I'm a medium to heavy user. Can anyone tell me if the battery of alpha lasts atleast for a day or not?
