Dual core , But its very powerful chip ,
Iphn6 Dual core blow away all other CPUs its GPU is also king .
8mp camera ,
I have both phone , both have great camera.
In outdoors ,
Alpha camera is better than Iphn6 camera .
But on low light/ night ,
IPhone 6 camera is better than alpha .
But in terms of video record ,
Alpha is best

lol,,how did you say iPhone is the best smartphone compare to Samsung if the SOC A8 of iphone is made from Samsung.
Do not comparing 2 gadget by Brand.
In terms of Specs Samsung is Won
In terms of Carrier Samsung is Won
In terms of Multi-Tasking Samsung is Won
In terms of Slim body Samsung is Won
In terms of Camera Samsung is Won
iphone is obsolete hardware until now still Dual Core and 8mp Camera... Open your mind dude you are not rich looking it because of iphone.
Use your brain and accept the reality, Stop phone Idolatry.

I have to give one of these phone to my sister , I still can't decide which one I should kept with me .
Both are great in their different aspects
Alpha isn't like other Samsung phones,
Its running fast with no lag.
But apps on iOS are great

screen is very high resolution , but its not accurate , its display having very bad colour reproduction and very bad contrast .
2k resolution and snapdragon 801 , its worst combination , phone is lagging in even normal operation ,
and every hd games are laggy on it with bad frame rates .
which country u r from ?

HTC m8 eye camera is still not good.
If its rear camera is same as my friend's E8 .
Personaly I don't like ui of HTC (sense ui)
HTC m8 is very heavy weight ,
I use iphn6 and alpha , and love the fingerprint sensors .
Z2,Z3 good , but it heats up to 50 degree . and
Service centres at least in India are worst and no resell value , Worst display , speaker will be damaged after few months and will produce noices
Go for iphn 5s or Alpha

Selling phones with top benchmarks at lower prices that is what most of the people want . Fewer people care about how easy it is to use samsung touchwiz or apple ios (hard for me though)
If samsung drops the prices by 100 dollar for each phone the sell that would be a smart move but yeah who am i to tell that to samsung

samsung should discontinue S series and start innovating the A or alpha series... best smartphone so far by any manufacturer... the price is bit over but thats okey according to its performance with specs n features running on top notch, the phone z worth for its price...

Galaxy S2 in 2011 was very impressive phone and huge innovation.
But after that S3,S4,S5 was very bad looking phone and highly cheap plastic .
S4 or may be s3 also was lagging badly , hanging , battery draining fast on s4 .
S5 was much better than S4 , its lagging very little compared to s4 .
But when I saw look of alpha , than I used it I was just impressed , than I bought it . camera of alpha is very impressive , and its pretty fast and no lag at all .
After my previous phones Galaxy S2, Samsung wave s8500 .
I started loving Samsung again .

From go launcher , I cannot change any things , other than launcher.
Can I change notifcation bar ? No
Can I do multi window ? No
Can I change Call keypad and look like Alpha ? No
There are many more things other than launcher .
I never used touchless controls , moto assist , active display was impressive .
Bad call quality ,may be only on my phone .
But signal drops to zero sometimes was really a problem after I updated it to KitKat .
Battery life was really bad .
I don't think so my Alpha will start lag after few days/months .
Cause I know , before buying alpha .
I found S5 was slow than alpha .
So no problem , it will be fast .
Alpha Exynos is Exynos 5430.
Which one is 20nm processing like iphn 6,
And Mali 628mp6 , GPU of s5 but on 720p screen , performance is superb superb .
Can someome tell me , alpha supports Wireless charging or not and from where I can but that back cover for wireless charging .

Saw this news "Samsung sees lowest profits since Q3 2011"
Galaxy S5 has seen the lowest volume of sales. In fact sales volume has started decreasing since Galaxy S4.
So, it just gave a different name with not so better specs than S5 and selling it for higher price than S5.
Really smart move to make people fools...!!!

Your were saying Moto X is having bad call quality but in many reviews u can see that its the phone with best call quality and motorola is known for that..
You can see video comparisions between moto X and S5, loud speaker is awesome in moto X and S5 is a crap(I am not sure abt Alpha).
If you are not happy with stock android, install golauncher, u get more themes.
If u get bored of it, then I am sure u will bored of touchwiz too very soon just like me.
Samsung's touchwiz itself consumes more RAM, within 3/4 months they start irritating you with too much lag.
Samsung is probably the highest number of smartphone's seller but it does never provide the best quality phone.
Galaxy phones come with so many useless features. Moto X is the first phone that has come with user friendly features like active display and touchless control. And MOTO assist is great too. If u r habituated to use active display, its hard for you to use other phones.

All flagships are around the same cost only so stop whining if you dont have money to spend. You can buy budget phones from companies like xiaomi, oppo etc.

Handset looks great...but in 10 days time, it reaches the customer service center. Handset is getting over heat even after 5 minutes of use.....
