Its all about making money. They are focused on new flagships. They don't give a damn about you will buy another samsung in future or not, but you have bought this phone and paid good money to them. Because they have much more new customers for new flagships.
They have been doing this from their first flagship (GT1900).
If you want regular updates and Android both, Nexus would be wise choice. But you won't get samsung premium software fill.

In your computer press Print Screen, go to paint, open and Ctrl + V, save de image in JPGE, or can you send me by email?

2. Got to settings >> data usage >> mobile networks >> Network Mode ... Don't select LTE / WCDMA / GSM which will drain your battery quickly, instead select WCDMA only or GSM only. If you are browsing videos via data then only select LTE / WCDMA / GSM.
