My alpha is showing 5.1 (Lollipop) update in Kies.

Have anyone tried this update. I want the new features for this update.

I am currently at 4.4.4 with official (already come with phone) THL firmware in South East Asia region.

AnonD-561789, 18 Jul 2016Anyone pls tell me..its battery i got Samsung Alpha 850-A..... morejust restart device, nad look for the apps that drain to much, sometimes an app has a gps problem, ( gps active all time ) or some apps are having full time internet use ( facebbok and messenger ) so replace them with facebook lite or something else.... i hope it helps you

But one thing you said was false I.e. from last 10-11 months samsung official website show that Alpha going to receive MM update but till now not happening so.
As this reason any news regarding this,Many people now not giving priority to this.

AnonD-556389, 15 Jul 2016Maybe mm 6 cancelled for galaxy Alpha.6.0.1 is latest for samsung probably till march 2017, so JUST WAIT. I received 5.0.2 in december 2015 so is still time till 2017. I saw on official page that there is no word of 6.0.1 anymore since the page it was updated BUT is still NOT canceled
