Do not update because d... morethe contact and dial of lollipop are not that bad But i do really hate new look of setting menu on lollipop:all setting icons in circle form with that white background really looks ridiculous.. but performance is overall not bad...benchmark scores higher than before.. i dont regret so much about upgrading it...

Great phone , just stay on Kitkat . Do not update because downgrade is not possible and you contacts or dial pad will become white instead blue , to shine fore driving . Better than any other android and reasonable size

try on higher numbers like 3 or 4(dont select "no background processes", it will cause problems with some apps)

i was thinking parches samsung alpha it is good mobile?? now i have nokia lumia 1020 its also to much batter but its compar with alpha and alpha is good not at regular use????answer me if u exp.. of alpha...

Is it effect mutitasking???

irfan, 23 Dec 2015i m using galaxy alpha but last night my alpha battery 90dr... moremy alpha never hang or heated ......there are some useful tips for you...
1 go to developer option and limit background process(max 2 is good)
2 delete cache in "storage" in settings
3 you might have too many apps in background... check what kind of apps are consuming ram usage and disable or delete the apps if you dont really need them(apps/online games like coc and facebook app are notorious battery eater)
4 download task killers or greenify apps to stop unesessary apps
my ram is always more than 800-900mb free and never heated or hanged..hope this help..

i m using galaxy alpha but last night my alpha battery 90drain 90% in 1h 45m and also processor is heating kindly suggest me for smooth using the said phone

This is the powerful phone i had ever seen .. the amazing feature in this phone is that it records a video " 4k "......

alpha guy, 20 Dec 2015my alpha has kitkat..i received a software update.its 154.6... moreeverything is smooth on lollipop and nothing to worry about it...
not sure about battery-life, maybe little better than before?? but that small 1860mah batttery wont be much better no matter what kind software installed...sadly

AnonD-477955, 18 Dec 2015My phone hanged everyday, kindly tell me solution.delete cache in recovery mode, check your ram usage and see what apps on background... delete rarely used apps and go to developer option to reduce background processes(2 is good)....
my alpha never hanged before and after rooted btw...i recommend you to upgrade lollipop if youre still on kitkat btw
