Battery review:
I always get 4h minimum out of it (no gaming). Normal power saving mode helps to limit CPU and other stuff so it doesn't get hot. It charges in ca.90 minutes on 5V 1.4A, so a 2.4A charger will likely charge it on less than an hour.
Now I'm on 23% with 3h 37min screen-on time (spread over two days) already passed and lots of music playback done.
Screen uses around 50% of the battery when at 50% brightness. The screen gets completely (yes COMPLETELY) dark when viewing black, so a dark browser and black wallpaper helps ALOT to save on energy.
I do have the spare battery and charger for duoble battery life, but since it charges so fast, you could also get a portable powerbank.

Using Alpha since 5 months , and still its performing same as Day 1 , very fast and smooth.
Its antutu Benchmark score is 50,000 + .

I have the Samsung Galaxy alpha with At&t and I don't know if it's just the phone or what but a random tapping noise comes out of the speaker at random days and times even when all sounds are off. I got a replacement through warranty and its doing it again. It's nothing I've done especially since I just got it. Wonder if anyone else has this problem with theirs?

yogesh, 09 May 2015in my gallary all pictures has showing sign of picasa with ... moreHi, touch the three dots on right side of the gallery i.e (options menu) and choose the 'contents to display' option. A Dialogue box appears - Untick 'All content' and tick 'Content in device'.

I observe that lollipop create problem in every phone ... so kitkat is best guysss...

I charged my battery from 6pm to 9 pm and so it was overcharging for an hour. Now when I woke up this morning it was already dead and there were no notifications or anything.

I am using finger print lock since i purchased the device & for me Finger Print Scanner is working perfectly fine (98% accuracy rate). It always read my finger print in a single swap Without hassle.
Accuracy also depends on how you register your finger print like i have registered only 1 finger print by swaping finger in each & every direction 8 times. However you can register up to 3 finger prints seperately which will work even good.
Also in starting you might not get the smae accuracy rate as i get but once you used to of it you will certainly agree with me.
I read one of the comment that states it does not read finger print if you have moisture (i.e sweating, water etc.) in your finger however what i observed it works even if your finger is moistured.
