AnonD-71404, 22 Sep 2012its not always the clock that matters . samsung has done no... moreyeah that is correct. but the lower res also makes a difference. I mean whenever the processor refreshes the screen there are less number of pixels to load. try lowering the res on your pc and then you will notice the difference in speed (you won't notice it if your pc is a new one).

serpent, 22 Sep 2012yes I would myself prefer this one to the tipo. tipo has a ... moreits not always the clock that matters . samsung has done nothing special neither sony has . galaxy chat runs ics smoothly than tipo because it has a cortex a9 cpu . that is why while tipo has improved version of cortex a5 . that is the main reason that this runs fluidly. give tipo the same processor . it will also run smoothly

I just hope ... moreyes I would myself prefer this one to the tipo. tipo has a lot if lags and glitches. may be the 800mhz processor is not capable of running ICS at 320x480 smoothly. the 240x320 of this phone which is considered as its weakest point actually turns out to be a life saver. this also shows the amount of time samsung has put into the device to make it low cost as well as smooth on ics.

A good entry level Android phone. I like this. I just hope they would release a version without the hardware keyboard.
I saw the review and it's very fluid and the touch screen is good. I'd prefer this compare to TIPO. TIPO has lags and the touch screen is sometimes not responsive. But this phone just proved that ICS can be very fluid in low-end devices.
It has the lite version of the touchwiz found in SG3. Check the video on youtube. It has a very good performance. Very fluid.

Although it is a nice phone for people like me who uses qwerty keypad and both touch but I think it needed to be improve its features in future. I hope that there will be a price drop as you can see it has no front facing camera and dual sim slot and it has only 2 mega pixel camera. I am waiting for a price drop or next version of it which I think will be Galaxy Ch@t duos with some more improvements.

i'ld love dis type of fon if dis fon have a dual camera what is the problem of making a dual camera i search a lot in nokia also i got it but all in vary high price i'ld thank alot if samsung company had made a dual camera mobile in a reasonable price if not what is the use of 3g 3g no need useless without a dual camera how to caht face to face

I just use a week. very interesting and worth the price. smooth even though it uses a small processor. it does not disappoint for anyone. except battery, normal thing for samsung users.
