If these two factors were not there, I would surely have gone for Moto G. As regards the upgradation of the earlier Core,
even Sony has not upgraded Xperia M to kitkat which is in the similar price bracket of Core.

Cheap marketing from Samsung. Instead of releasing Android Kitkat to existing Galaxy Core, it has introduced so called 'new Galaxy Core' with KitKat OS. SAMSUNG !!! your days are over now.

Well, Samsung is going on the Nokia way. Samsung is now on top and they are now totally ignoring what customers want and what they need. Nokia was doing much better but still disappeared from the market. Same thing is going to happen with Samsung too. I bought a Samsung phone once and they never bothered to update it.
I am never going for Samsung. Sony looks much more promising than any other manufacturer when it comes to software and hardware updates.

it's available in Indonesia for Rp. 2500000 (approx. USD 208).
its price is very similar to the original Galaxy Core (Rp. 2300000 / USD 192). but this Core II has lower RAM.

Samsung is not even trying anymore...
This is just a ripoff of the Galaxy S2, albeit some specs are even worse than the S2.
It would even be better they just re-release the S2 with 4.4 and quad core and leave everything else the same.

That S ... mores duos and sduos 2 has 768 mb doesnt support kitkat... s3 and core has 1 gb of RAM doesnt support kitkat and galaxy core 2 has 512 mb and support kitkat....i will never buy samsung as they dont update their devices and launch new device with other version...samsung is worst than sony lg....u first research than say

That S ... moreAnd 1 more thing dud you see the latest low ends of Samsung that rung 1Ghz and runs 512Mb RAM only look it has Android v 4.4.2 so so what is Duos 2 that is a mid range phone that has 768Mb RAM and has 1.2Ghz dual processor so before you comment such non sense check out the latest new phones of Samsung like Samsung Young and the rest latest mid phones of Samsung... Samsung is not doing thier job ang always making new phones instead of updating thier old phones like S3 and other Samsung phones from high end phone to their low end phones... Sammy resign now

That S ... moreYes such a non sense comment go and make some research some mid range phones from other brands has already been updated to the latest kitkat 4.4.2 which samsung fails to do and one more thing Duos and Duos 2 is not a low end phone its a mid range phone and look at the new mid and low end phones now of Samsung... Samsung already put Kitkat 4.4.2 bec they are too lazy to update thier old phones so go make some research
