I think this device does not have proximity sensor, hence battery is consumed during calls and quickly drains, may be you should try to look for an alternative options in the device to turn off the display during calls, also this might solve the heating problem as well. Try it, not sure if it works!!!

i bought samsung galaxy core 2 after 3 days i notice the ram of my phone was only 768MB and and the home screen is lagging. and i cannot delate mp3 and videos from the app of my phone. you can delate it from file manager... my message to Samsung pls give us a Good software Update....

heating problem in my mobile
10 minuts call after much hit.
2 hour looking videos in internet much hit.i purchase in 3 month before.one time i go samsung care but not solv in this problems.please give me solution.

when i talk above 10 minits much hit speaker.
now respectly 2 hours i look videos in internet it is much hit.

In 20 days 3 times went to service centre for problems related to mic, speaker. still problem unresolved. Now thinking of giving it to my 1 year kid for playing. Money wasted on core 2.
