I can use my phone for one minute and it gets so hot it will burn your fingers. I just got this phone in May of 2016 beware

This phone starto getting extremely hot while talking on it. While charging, it's to hot to touch. Is this normal

After just 3 months the phone froze and would not allow me to even log in with a security code. I ordered a replacement phone which was refurbished and in less than 30 days the phone would not move pass the home screen. I just ordered a replacement phone, but I don't hold out any hope that this phone will be any better. The store from which I purchased it will not allow me to upgrade with a credit for the phone just ordered. Customer service at the store was poor. I had to pay $16 for each of the 2 phones and now I am being required to pay full price for an upgrade. My carrier is metropcs.

ive tryed to factory reset but the phone still hangs frozen wont go past the samsung screen! help what is switching or kies about?

The phone is always on stuck. touch screen is not working properly , and still working in android kitkat version.. The network is very slow..

They work well as a phone, and as a low end smartphone. Processor is OK. Gets hot rather easily. But it is most definitely a smartphone. Don't go bashing it because it isn't Top-of-the-line Cutting-edge Quad-core Super Ultra Mega Hyper App-cruncher 90,000.
It's cheap. If you can get it for cheap, then that's what it's worth. It works.
If you want more processing power, get a computer.

this phone is junk. crap processing speed, practically no RAM and still runs KitKat. maybe a good phone for grandma but if you want to do anything besides make calls, get something better. "smartphone" my ass.

I've had the Galaxy Core Prime since January. I find it to be a great phone. I did however ad a 64gb sd card on day one and moce all storage and as many apps as possible to the sd card.
