I have been using the galaxy gio for over a year... It hasn't given me any problems even after the gingerbread update. This is a great android to buy if you don't want to spend too much on a phone... It won't give you problems... And it's reasonably fast..
I say that it's a great smart phone! No regrets or worries about it breaking on me. Seems reliable :)

The likes of Huawei ascend Y201 Pro and HTC Explorer are way much better than this phone and are in the same price range. Don't buy this phone just because it's a Samsung. You can buy something better for the same price.
