At least i can still see the screen and keep the brightness to its lowest level which is the best thing to save your battery life. Seconldy keep the conectivilty options off. If you dont avail 3G services keep it off. if u r not using WIFI keep it off aswell and also turn on GPS only when u need it ... these things will greatly help u achieve longer battery life

But the da... moreShoaib, There is a free application on the market named APP2SD, which shows what app is installed on what storage media either on your mobile storage or on your SD card. you can also easily move your installed apps on your mobile storage to your SD card or from your SD card to your mobile storage .. what ever u wish :) ... A must have app

my galaxy gio wont go on the internet if im not connected to wifi, and even if i have data, can some one seriously help me, because the main thing i do on all phones is go on the internet, for facebook and so, what is the problem with this phone?

When i m installing some applications . they r going to memory card but when i go to task manager and open package tab , it shows code and data of the application are talking memory on the phone also... The application that is installed on SD card is also taking memory on phone. what should i do?

Has Gio got internal fixed memory card of 2gb in addition to the external card slot? Can we install applications in memory card? 158MB seems way too small

A great set, and i Must say i should post here the fixes to the only problem one might have. My phone had less batt time, so i installed Juice Defender App Free version, it makes it about 1.4 times the battery time with Wifi on the whole day It freezed randomly during the day, black screen and had to remove batt and put again to start the phone. Happened atleast once a day right from the first day. Here's a solution for that i found and worked for me.
1. on the key pad, type *#*#197328640#*#*
2. Select [1] Debug Screen
3. Select [8] Phone Control
4. Select [7] Network Control
5. Select [2] Band Selection
6. Select [2] GSM Band Preference []
7. Select [5] GSM 900
In step 7 try different bands to see on which band you can make calls. I'm having Froyo 2.2 with no upgrades to firmware
If the problem is still there, then in Advanced Wifi Settings, turn Wifi Sleep Policy to 'Never' and disable "apps sync data in background", only android market won't work without enabling it, otherwise every other application does.
I hope this helps..I love my phone and that's why i don't want you to miss such a great phone for such small bugs that can be fixed...
