Nice phone, nice touch, nice applications of andriod. But I can't install skype in it :(, otherwise its great phone.....

Hey there. I really want to buy this phone, but I still hesitate whether Gio or HTC Wildfire.
Will I be able to surf flash sites if I installed Skyfire on Gio?
And is the battery thing such big a problem (1 day durability at most) or is it just exaggeration or a rumour?

Dont use the andriod version of skype it is vulnerable to hacking. Skpe was removed from the andriod market when skpe officially declared the fault in their android version.wait for skype to lanch their new secure version

Please can some one tell me if there is any way to play (mkv,avi,flv,xivd,divx) in samsung galaxy gio.
Other question.... Do there is any way to connect gio to tv, in gsm arena review they say it's possible by "DLAN" but i really don't know what dlan suppose to mean does gio has a normal tv out or not?
please some body answer me because i wanna buy this phone so if some one told me it's possible to do this two things i'll buy it right now so pleas responds soon.

u can get skype from downloading skype.apk from ur computer and manually install it and mobile doesnt install adobe flash player 10.3 but u can get a browser skyfire which support flash

I have to ask, is this phone has non qwerty normal keypad for messsaging. I feel some uneazy on qwerty virtual key for messaging???

my experience using this device is great
but the battery is easy get hot when i use it for surfing
but i still love it
you should buy it
even though the camera is below fit
but it's still above fit and gio

Great Phone just bought it 2 days ago....
first time buy touch phone .... even though me dun like it... but its cool using it....
its like the i phone..... maybe better....only problems i see in it...
No FLASH !!!!
and battery lasts 1 day if normal use....so make sure u charge everyday.....
go ahead if u need nice touch phone....lots of apps can find and download....AMAZING

hi using mobile for few 2 weeks now , main issue is still battery i use mobile for like 2-3hrs and battery fully charged turn from 100% into 60% sometime 50% i only have battery issue but the mobile is v v v good for me i hope samsung can fix this battery issue or it might be fix in android update
