nice comparing between optimus one and Gio but i dont agree that Gio is 0.5 points lesser than Op.1 but rather on par. Samsung Gio has come out a some useful software widget for the phones, i have no doubt that that you mention is hard to see under sunlight, but samsung Gio have 16m color while op.1 only have 256k color, hence in term of battery wise Op.1 is better but in term of color performance Gio is better. but of cos the battery performance is at least better than my iphone4 wic i planning to sell off in 1 week cos waiting for iphone5 and the same time getting a Gio as standby phone, for surfing , listening to music( not to mention Lg Op.1 sound quality is bad )and with a 800 mhz ram processor multitasking will be a breeze, jus go for Gio!!! dont think act now!!!

Samsung Gio is a great phone for its low price, it works great with newbies who dont have enough experience with droids. Camera results are great, though recording is bit laggy and offers very low fraps and low resolution. It is fast, efficient and easy to use.
Pros:
800Mhz Processor runs application fast
Good Camera results
2.2 FroYo runs almost every application out there at App Market
Cons:
No Flash
No rom update to 2.3 Gingerbread
Cant run 3D games like Asphalt 5
Low memory, gets full after installing heavy apps
Wifi Problem (gives frequent errors, fixes after rebot)

But apart that LG Optimus One shines all through. Build quality of LG Optimus One is exceptional. It weighs 129 gms against only 102 gms of Gio. Screen is exteremely sharp and performs a bit better than Gio while exposed to sunlight. Gio takes 3 and half hours for full charge whereas Optimus One takes a little less than 3 hours. Call quality in terms of reception and performance is much higer grade on LG Optimus One. Samsung Gio is a bit better performer when it comes to listening to music through quality headphones like Sennhisser. Camera Quality on Optimus One is much better in terms of Pics as well as shooting movies being VGA against QVGA on Gio. I would rate 4 stars for LG Optimus One and 3,5 Stars to Samsung Gio.

my gio s5660's a battery life is sadly about 24 hours only. With 30 minutes avarage daily talking, bluetooth on, wi-fi off, weather service, face book and g.mail android programs on the background with active syncronisation every 3 hours. I would be very glad if I've had 72 hours stand by time , not even 460 hours as indicated in the specifications page. Other than that I'm happy with it.

it has an arm6 processor and adobe was unable to make flash support for it it has ended its research in developing flash for arm6 processors so will have to live with out a flash support for this phone

why there will be a major defect put on mobile handsets? nowadays all smartphones are coming with minimum of five mp camera but in these handset this is main defect 3.15 is not at all acceptable for these features

Why the hell is this laking flash support? It has froyo in it and the processor power in this. It could run even flash 10.1 but it doesnt even have flash lite?

Velocistar made an absolutely great coment on this phone,and i hope people at samsung read these comments from customers.But i just wish that they instaled or made posible that the phone to have Flash support in the web browser and a pre-intaled by Samsung Divx/Xvid player.Just these 2 things would have made this the absolut winner in these price range and a great value/money phone(at least in my opinion).

Very nice Android I think, I have try this smartphone for one week, it come with 2GB micro SD by samsung, and I also got Headphones in Indonesia, nice one :D
But for YM and FB I have to download from android market
