I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 Duos Model Phone since 05 May 2014. Which came preloaded with Android Jellybean version 4.3.
In August 2014, It got an Update to Kitkat 4.4.2, since then, the Home Key Button Stopped responding, the charging indication suddenly displayed the Charging percentage to 60% and then literally freezed, until the back cover and battery were removed and again put back into place, then it displayed 100% and then there was another update in Mid October, and then in Mid December, and further more there has been a problem with the Home Key Only, Charging of the phone has now improvised a bit.
Regarding Battery Usage:
On Rigorous Usage,It gives me 13 hours
And On Standby, it gave me 15 days to discharge from 100 to 0 (During the Cyclone)
Camera Shots are somewhat OK.
God knows whether this device will get an OTA to 4.4.4 Kitkat, since, the RAM and the Internal Storage may not support the Lollipop 5.0.2 version.
Anyway, I am happy and considerate over the functioning of the phone.
Yes, it has heating Issues, but did not find it heating while usage, but during the charging only (Up to 40d Centi-grade), I hope this is normal.
I have purchased G7102 Model, for INR 22,000 without Accessories and wanted to Exchange it with Galaxy Note 4 910G,during April 2015. Had a Dilemma previously between 910G and 915G, but was pleased to purchase 910G after a quick demo (hands-on).
The Dealer told me that after Exchanging the Phone for INR 7,000 he will give me the Note for 50,000.
My Doubt here is:
Some Online Sites have been showing the price range of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 910G ranging from 47,550 to 58,250.
Can anyone from South India let me know, what actually is the bargain price of the actual Unit.

This kind of phone is kinda amazing. However it affects me greatly since I was using jeans all the time and preferred to have the phone on my pocket than to have it on my pouch/backpack. TOO HUGE woaa :D

I bought recently Samsung grand 2 but in its spec itsaid that 1.5 gb ram but in product ram space showing as 870mb ram.
please explain the reason

No chance of grand 2 getting Android lollipop. It's a bitter truth that our aged device is not in the queue. I am happy with kitkat.

Dear all,
We (grand 2 users) may not receive Android lollipop update at all. Its more than a year old now and I don't think if Samsung has policy to update its old devices. Also its meager internal memory is too insufficient to allow Android lollipop download.
We have to accept that we have to remain stuck with Android kitkat forever.

i couldnot transfer files directly to external card through bluetooth and i do not get the setting to change it. is there any setting or what do i do to transfer files directly to external card??

I also switched my samsung phone with a htc phone and I am very happy with it.... Samsung phones have become good for nothing now... They start to lag when they grow old, they never have satisfactory battery performance, samsung doesnt give them updates, then what for people should buy samsung??

grand 2 has all the requirements for installing lollipop. we just have to wait.. i hope Samsung will release that soon as possible. so always think positive .lollipop is not always for the high value phones . it can also match with the mid range super hits like grand 2.
