Deli Cado, 12 Aug 2014where did you get your 4.4 kitkat version hir in the philip... moreIt's available over-the-air (ota). Go to settings>general>about device>software update>update now. You have to have wi-fi or data connection. File size is 380+ MB. Upgrade now you won't regret it. Promise :)

I'm from the Philippines and I just upgraded to 4.4 KitKat yesterday.
I have not experienced any of the problems described here after upgrade. Mine works perfectly fine. Not even a single restart, hang, blue screen, etc. Battery is fine. Phone even got faster. I'm no noob when it comes to tech bec I work in a tech company.
Just make sure you don't have too much apps. And only download KitKat with a fast WiFi connection.

If user inserts one SIM card only to be used, while second slot SIM card is empty, is it OK? I mean, there is no a must should insert two SIM cards to use the phone.

Samsung galaxy grand 2 is best phone all time,but 2g internet not supported.In 2g network Google play store can't open.You must have 3g with big plane.

idontknow, 11 Aug 2014dont buy grand2 , buy s4 because its hardcore phone Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is superb, I'm in love with it. No heat up and battery is wonderful
