how performance grand2 with HD games in the kitkat (4.4)???
does it have a lag ???
I want to update to kitkat but I'm afraid this grand2 have lag in kitkat...
and what i know is when we had upgrade to kitkat we can't downgrade at all CMIIW...

HI^^, I'm from Philippines and i just want to share my experience with my Grand2 and its awesome and its fast for me, And now i just got a Software Update thru Wifi this Aug.12,2014 at around 2am and after installing it i notice its faster and no problems at all the File size was 384.74mb on Wifi Software Update here in the Philippines... Before when it was in Jellybean 4.3 it heats but not that hot but now after i update it to kitkat it has lesser heat or no heat at all now even if im playing games like Kritika:Chaos Unleash Game for hours of Gameplay and the battery life seems last longer now in Kitkat update...THanks Samsung Philippines for Putting a Kitkat Update on Grand2 here in the Philippines and hope u update Grand2 for more future android updates to come... Thanks^^.

Updated to Kit Kat here in Malaysia.
All working fine and stable.
Best mid range dual sim phone. ^^

i am using this galaxy grand 2 since it release, no doubt its good phone, but its not very good and outstanding dual sim phone, its having manufacturing defect, while using 2nd sim the 3G date from sim 1 is disconnecting, its not happen in Galaxy grand...
Samsung people please dont manufacture and sell such defect phones plz or rectify it, its a hardware problem.... recall it immediately...

Got the update. 384.74mb in size. Got via OTA. Phone works fine and smooth. Great update.

Check your Charger if its 2A (Ampere) then change it and get 1A (Ampere) charger I also had this issue I changed my 2A charger from 1A and now its working perfectly fine.

Just bought my Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 a week ago all bad reviews are shocking because its working smooth for me, no heat up, very good battery life, no hanging, camera is good too, screen resolution is superb, so avoid all negative reviews and go for it. Still waiting for Android 4.4.2 KitKat update in Pakistan. #HonestReview

Point is, You have to be enough smart to use smartphone.
This phone is one of the awesomest product within budget of 20k,however I bought it in 23k for development purpose.
Upgrade to Kitkat version via Kies or OTA, its not giving any problems mentioned below by many not-so-smart people.
Its working like charm, no lagging, no heating.. Working smoothly.
For brainy people, I would suggest you to root after updating to kitkat version.. Root by CWM recovery (CLOCK WORK MOD). Simply search google or send me email. Psingh2110 @ gmail. Com
After rooting grand 2,you will be able to increase phone's internal memory by partition of SD card. You can install 1000's of apps or even more if you want. Moreover You can play 100's of heavy games like NFS, Asphalt, Modern combat, dead trigger, Spider-Man and many more like this.
Rooting can help you to boost your battery life to double, means if your phone runs 12hours,after root it can easily run for 22-24 hours.
Overall its a amazing phone to buy. I Strongly suggest.
Otherwise go for Nexus 5 (32gb version) if you can afford 25k-30k.. Don't rely on Micromax, lava, intex, Geoni elife.. n all those cheap phones.
