Using this phone 6 weeks ago, I can say it's great phone, no lag, good screen, good sound quality,
just the battery backup not that good. overall I'm satisfied.

Still no sign of kitkat update in philippines for grand 2 handset. Samsung's slow in spreading its os updates. Why???

I have bought this phone a week ago, has issues like excessive heating, insert sim card option,back drop light going dim. I reported it to service centre, lousy responses given until I screwed their happiness, got it replaced with a brand new set,. You know with new set I got new set of problems as well, screen getting blank, not detecting sim card, slow in speed and many more. Plsssss do not buy this set.
I am lodging a case in consumer forum to get my money refunded. Poor after sales service...

the price is too high to buy.if the company kindly goes down the price, it would be better for all buyers to buy samsung galaxy grand 2 .i think the company will consider our prayers.if the prices go down before this durga puja (2014),i shall must buy this set.

It is another shit from the samsung. By purchasing 2 day itself i returned it back. heating problem and lagging.
its not worth for the money.
Guys hard earned money do not waste on these kind of shitty smart phone.
Better go for the htc 816... instead of this..

Hi friends this is akash.. I have answers to some of your questions... 1) if your grand 2 is hanging then i will recoment you to use c cleaner. it will free up your ram so that it will boost up the speed. 2) if your grand 2 is giving you heating problem then u must reduce the LCD backlight. it will also increase battery life. 3) and also dont carry out too much heavy task at a time so it will not hang. 4) also dont install a heck of apps it will take your ram to loose its performance.. Grand2 before Kitkat update was running fabulosly good. But now after this 4.4.1 update, everything slows down and even Assistive light and Samsung Touch Wiz got crashes so often. even games which were running smooth before, now works real bad.I am rolling bac into previous 4.3.2.
otherwise phone is good for my run.

i bought this set 1day ago , i am facing this problem when i connect the headphone the device shows headphone is connected but there is no sound in fm radio and when i am playing music through headphone there is only music no lyrics ?? .. did anyone faced this sort of problems ? ?

siddhss, 26 Jul 2014after using kitkat update found following problems 1) fron... morePlease do factory reset after update. I am not at all facing any problems in kitkat. My phone works like charm n it is better than jelly bean.

after the kitkat update everything got worse, both cameras lost its effeciency. every application and games gets hung... I made a mistake by upgrading to kitkat... will i be able to degrade it to gelly bean again????????
