While using speakers for say music playback, since the speaker is on bottom side of phone, if the phone is lying on table, volume reduces a lot- so try to lift the phone little bit with some support or put it upside down(disable the "smart mute" option so that music playing doesn't stop when you keep the phone upside down).
However, I noticed that the equalizer settings in music player is a bit confusing now compared to my earlier Grand Quattro. I don't know why Samsung has changed it this way.

The reason I am suggesting Grand 2 is (i) Micromax support is very bad (ii) For an Octa core processor with 1080x1920 resolution 2350mAH is a very less battery- so Canvas knight is not going to give you good battery life. (iii) Mediatek CPU/chipsets generally have signal reception issues and a few owners of Canvas knight have already mentioned about signal reception issue in gsmarena(you can check it in the other forum) (iv)You would get more frequent software updates in Samsung compared to Micromax.
However, I must agree that feature and look wise Canvas Knight is an amazing phone.

Yes, Samsung is using TFT screen in most of the low end and mid range phones, but I have seen that Samsung's TFT screen is a much better quality display than even the IPS displays of Chinese re-branded mobiles like Micromax/Karbonn. The viewing angle you would get in TFT display of Grand 2 is almost same as (or even better ) than the IPS displays. IPS display takes more power than TFT. also, I find the TFT displays of Grand 2 more soothing to eye compared to AMOLED displays of say S3. However, I agree with you regarding visibility issue in sunlight. It's at least good that Samsung has added the light sensor in Grand2.
The major thing I miss in Grand 2 is the OTG port. Samsung should have added OTG (and NFC) in a 20K+(INR) phone. Also surprisingly Samsung has removed Gyro sensor from grand 2 whereas in Grand 1 it was there. That's really bad.

Raj Khan, 02 Apr 2014Nexus 4 best.........But price higher than grand 2.If somebody is planning to go for Nexus series then I thing instead of Nexus 4 Nexus 5 would be better. Nexus 5 camera seem to be much better than Nexus 4 (I cheked in gsmarena photo comparison). Nexus 5 is about 3K more compared to Nexus 4, but I think it would be worth paying that extra amount. However, people have compalined about battery life and some signal quality issues in Nexus 5. Grand 2 battery life is very good and there is no signal quality issue in Grand 2.
