For a Mid Range phone samsung went too much on the cheap side here , TFT display (poor colour reproduction and out door visibility while it also consumes more power compared to other displays ) TFT is used mostly on lower end phones becos its cheap, no screen protection (cost the customer extra to buy a screen protector or case) , and a fake plastic chrome rim ( which will make the phone ugly as hell after a couple of months of use when it will start to peel off)
Even nokia provides better hardware specs than this for its much lower end smartphones .
comparing this to lumia 1320 , grand 2 only excels greatly in the camera and prety much useless in eveything else.
Just giving a honest opinion :)

It takes 5 hrs ... moreFinally I got solution for that charging issue.." you should keep the fone 4 charge when it is at 15% itself..more over mean time clear the ram and exit all running apps from task manager..if so the charging issue will be fine..and the fone charges in mean time.. ;) :D

Otherwise you can go for nexus 4 since it has better hardware spec like 2gb ram and adreno 320gpu. However, Grand 2 camera would be better than nexus4 ( you can compare in gsmarena photo comparison tool) and grand2 is expected to give you better battery life compared to nexus4. In nexus4 you would get nfc , gyro sensor and otg port which you won't get in Grand2. For more details just compare these two phones in website like flipkart and decide.

Never once it hang or stopped working when opening apps. The battery, screen res, fluidity, overall performance is awesome. Charging is normal for me. If you really own this phone, go change it for a functional phone. Yours is defective. Thank you and bye bye..

gajendra, 02 Apr 2014Showing too much hanging problem. .During charging and some... moreWhen ever u buy a smart phone..........Think what requirements u want in smart phone..........Every user different taste........Every android phone hang....If ur careless it will hangs altime.....(1)Go to settings and see how many applications running........Check applications storage which application taking more memory.........(2)Don't charge ur phone every 10 or 12 hrs or don't over charge ur phone it will harm ur battery.........(3)Grand 2 screen resolution good.....(4) 8 mp camera same as S3......(5) Ya i agree Grand 2 price is higher......We already saw many samsung phones which price decreased after 6 months Like S3, S4 mini, Galaxy core, S4, Grand etc etc......:)

Showing too much hanging problem. .During charging and sometime calling someone. .charging is too slow ..no other screen resolution is almost gud..camera quality okk... finally conclusion is the galaxy grand2 is not so gud according to price. .
