The original Grand 2 is the best considering all the features and parameters it can take better photos than any 13 MP camera of any unbranded Chinese phone.

reality check guys...are your expectations high on mid range phones? don't simply say it's a bad phone. i bought a second hand phone for this samsung model (it's an original set) and it worked fine with me. moderate game play, moderate surfing, e-mail etc...all is well.

Android 4.4.2 Kitkat is the best for Samsung Grand 2 it's very stable don't be fooled by updating to lollipop via rooting lot if problem u have to face.For me android 4.4.2 version of kitkat is best suited for galaxy Grand 2.

Anonymous, 06 Sep 2015Grand 2 cannot be upgraded. It runs on 32bits unlike 64bits... moredevelopers from XDA Developers already ported Cyanogenmod 12.1 (Lolipop 5.1.1) to Grand 2 and its working very smooth, so Lollipop can very well run on 32 bit devices.

Anonymous, 05 Sep 2015If Samsung doesn't upgrade Grand 2, Samsung will loose twic... moreGrand 2 cannot be upgraded. It runs on 32bits unlike 64bits build on Grand Prime. That is why Grand Prime now able to run Lollipop 5.0.2 & 5.1.1. But, regular patch updates will still comes to Grand 2. Btw, notices how Samsung don't release any new Grand series smartphone this year. Usually they made an announcement before September. There should be rumors device at least.

Cool, 06 Sep 2015I cannot share media through whatsapp app in my grand 2...n... moreTake it to service centre. Or just do hard reset or factory reset. Or buy a new phone if it is old. Since you unrooted it don't tell the service centre you had rooted it before or they wouldn't fix it for you. Rooted phone usually have invalid warranty anyway.
