I used s4 earlier
For the sake of dual sim I came to grand 2
I feel everything is same
Screen is better in s4 because of led screen
Battery is better in grand.

Rest the s4 have some other tricks and tweaks which we will not use regularly.

Grand 2 is a great device in its price range.
Go for it.

alokeb, 19 Mar 2014In my case the phone just becomes warm while charging. Does... moreYes. Your are right about the phone heats up when the signal is low with 3g on. Heavy usage such as playing high graphic games, surfing the net, downloading from the net will definitely heat up the phone. There is one time, testing using CPU-Z, phone heats up to 47.7 °c. I am using original charger, charging the phone screen facing up, i notice the phone heats up with 3g on/off. This is base on my experienced though. Bye..

Divyanshu, 15 Mar 2014Grand 2 is a good phone and even moto g but u should check ... moreYes, even I was considering Xperia C, but found that it uses a cheap Media Tek (MT6589) chipset which is used even in Micromax/Karbonn so didn't go for it. Also Xperia C has just 4GB internal memory (out of which >2.5GB would be taken up by OS) which is a major disadvantage. If you really want to go for Sony in this price range wait for few months and get Xperia M2 dual which was announced this year in MWC.

AnonD-106664, 15 Mar 2014Hi.. to the samsung galaxy grand 2 users here .Need a piece... moreHello aakash, good news is app2sd support is back to Samsung phones! It is working in grand 2 and even in S-duos2 for applications which support apps2sd. However, as you know, apps2sd won't move the full app to sd only part of it and also application might become slow once you move to sd card. Also all apps don't support apps2sd- so you can move only a limited number of apps, but even that is better than not supporting apps2sd at all.

BS, 17 Mar 2014S Memo missing No update on this from Samsung. Has anyone... moreThanks for pointing this out. Using the phone for almost 2 weks but didn't realize that S memo is missing! Actually I use colornote app (free available from Play store) so didn't realize that S Memo is missing! Also one more thing I noticed today is that face unlock is missing whereas in my earlier Grand Quattro both S memo and face unlock feature were there!

Doesn't get heated too much. Are you using the phone heavily(say 3G/wifi) simultaneously while charging the phone? I usually charge it in night when phone is not used(in standby mode) and I haven't faced this problem. Also noticed that while using 3G data phone gets hot if signal strength is weak(say 1 or two bars). This is quite common with most of the Android phones. However, I haven't yet played heavy games in my Grand2 for long duration- so not sure about that.

It comes with a default screen guard (already put on the screen) which you can use for a few weeks. You can buy good quality but low cost (duplicate) s-view flip covers from ebay.in
