kernells, 19 Feb 2014The update has messed up my phone.....Have you tried calling up Samsung? Do call them on their toll free number 180030008282 and tell the about the issue so that they can receive maximum complaints about the issue and take care of the issue as soon as possible. I did call them thrice. Emailed them. They called me from Delhi. So please call them and mail them.

Guys.backup ur data through kies then reset ur phone..whoever facing the 97mb problem.

Just updated my phone,the update was of around 100 MB on Android 4.2.2 and I'll tell you the phone was lagging so much that I had to reset it and after the reset when the time would come to fill in all details, The phone would crash at that instance , i mean how can it crach right after reset!! took me an hour just to fill in my details and,and then the homescreen would crash, I don't have access to Stockmode recovery either,it says no command,I can't even root my cell,It has frustrated me to huge extent and I simply wish i could throw and break it,so I hope y'all get my review here

And I'm not satisfied with its performance so far. If u r buying a new phone at this time then u should atleast look for a quad core processor & 1.5gb ram minimum. Never buy a phone with dual core processor since kitkat is on the way...

back up ur everything in kies and then reset ur grand...settings>accounts>backup & reset...
u'll feel same like newly grand when u bought...thenafter autoback up from kies

I've searched so much on google for solution; and now i've come to conclusion that either we can wait for a new update from samsung or we should root our phone and install a new firmware through custom rom. I've read that new kitkat version is also available for grand.
