Hi guys
I have taken samsung galaxy grand on may 1st. It worked fine for two weeks but when I installed the samsung apps the lock screen started to struck. Can anyone suggest any solution for this..

It that shouldn't happen, mine never has showed that kinda behavior... for now.

When i unlock the phone the color all go black and when i lock and unlock it becomes normal.. Also when starting Bluetooth from the notification bar the same problem as you.. I tried to factory reset the phone and it worked fine but after 2 hours those started to happen. I think it's a software issue. Only a software update can fix it. Hope Samsung release the s/w update soon..

Any body facing problem like
1. when you press power key to unlock you find phone display dull n pale n screen tone too down but when you lock n unlock again it looks normal as before .
2. When you start bluetooth or wifi from notification panel it stop midway (icon turn light green) n then pause there means in between on and off n u hav to restart to solve it.
Plz reply n ya auto reboot also .

DON'T GO FOR SAMSUNG GALAXY GRAND THERE ARE SO MANY PROBLEMS IN IT.lIKE AS display quality poor, sudden disappearing network on 3g, slow Internet on 2G, and camera quality in night, Hanging problem, Data transfering problem from data cable...
If you want you can also contact me @ deepak.y01@gmail.com & ask for the same coz i purchased this mobile one month back & m facing these problems from very second day.

I'm actually speaking truth and helping those who are thinking of buying this phone.. Don't you agree that the phone being made of plastic feels very sticky and getting finger prints all over? It's true but not a major problem coz everyone puts a cover. The battery backup is average, gaming performance, viewing angles, display quality, sudden disappearing network, slow Internet on 2G, and camera quality in night are the only disadvantages, it's true whether you agree with me or not. Otherwise a good phone.

denny, 23 May 2013How can I change sms tone with mp3 ?denny, to change sms tone, first you have to go to MUSIC and long press your mp3,options will illuminate on what you want to do with it, select USE AS PHONE RINGTONE, then go to SOUND via SETTINGS and you will see options for notification ringtone
press it and select your mp3.....

I have bought a Samsung Grand Duos , one issue i keep facing is that I keep loosing network and have to keep manually selecting my network every now and then . Have updated the software at a Samsung service center aswell as changed to a new sim , but the problem pressists . Can anyone help me with this pl

harsha, 22 May 2013bro. i wa nt to buy a good smart phone,is galaxy grand wort... moreIf you really want a good phone go for Umix2 (2gb version) instead of galaxy grand, it much better phone in every aspect , grand doesnt even have a hd screen not even 720p and umi has a full hd 1080p screen, 2gb ram, quad core processor, 13 mp back camera and 3 mp front camera , 32 gb internal storage , expandble to another 32 gb with sd card.
And the price umi cost just 16000 and galaxy grand is 21000

ateeq, 22 May 2013Hi just i buy this mobile but internal memory is 4Gb instea... moreto my knowledge, it usually comes with 8GB internal memory. make sure that you bought Galaxy Grand DUOS not Galaxy DUOS, because the latter comes with 4GB internal memory. also, screen size is smaller (4 inch whereas Grand has 5+)
