MSB, 19 Sep 2014The battery is draining toooo much in 3G (shows 'H' in noti... moreHi there if it shows 'H' in notification it means definitely you are not getting '3G' Network. You said network is set as 'WCDMA auto' but there is no such option, there are 3 options for network selection
1) WCDMA/GSM (auto connect)
2) WCDMA only
3) GSM only
WCDMA/GSM auto connect means you will get services as per the available network strength, means if network is good you will get 3G otherwise 'E' 'H' 'H+'etc.
If you want only '3G' Network then select WCDMA only.
For battery drain problem use Power Saving Mode and make sure its ON.

sudhir, 12 Sep 2014this hand set has mostaly hang.....reaset after 1 monthThis mobile is very bad battery is week hanging problems internal memory not so 8gb 4gb so ram 1gb so 804 mb camera not good fone is so solw iam very glade I suffer by this mobile .so i saying not by any person this mobile .Vbbbbbb bbbbbbb

Samsung grand is very good fone.i using last 8 months.wow 5 inch big screen!!!!!,good torch,.but i faced problem
1)battery not good
2)sometimes hang
i go to nokia lumia for
1)always good battery
2)full hd games
3)and minndddd blowing hardware.

The battery is draining toooo much in 3G (shows 'H' in notification & network selection is WCDMA auto).
There is wast difference between Wi-Fi and 3G battery consumption.
friends, Is it normal ?
Any suggestion to improve battery life ?
I am fade up. Also there is a drop of 20-25% of battery suddenly.

it is best phone large screen (5') 8 MP camera
I was used last 1 year there is no problem.
But if u installed lot of application so it would be hanged

Worst model in Samsung ... Dnt fix software update...Once you done...after that your phone work as a 1980's PC...toooooooooo slow...
