i too own grand duos i dont get any problems as others r tellin its cool....and ofcouse u should clean ur junk files like in all other smart phones...its is mandatory and after all every smart phone get struck if u dont clean it up....i like its picture quality and battery life...

I purchased my samsung galaxy grand in november 2013. I also experienced lag. But I found out that it lags whenever my phone is having trouble picking up 3g data. When I have very poor reception on 3g, it starts to lag/hang. Another thing I noticed is that opening gallery and camera takes a long time but other apps/games open fast. And one main probpem on my phone is that it vibrates everytime it receives a text message even if I turn the vibrate off. Battery life is not that good so you need to set settings to minimal when you are not using the phone. But overall experience is good. Just learn how to manage your apps, clean junk processes, and I turn off data connection if I don't need it to avoid lags.

Dear All i just want to let you know that the Samsung Grand DUOS is only for calling and texting i am using this mobile since more than one year ,if you are expecting to use the apps like Skype ,Tango ,Line & Yahoo ETC so it will be very bad experience to you . this Samsung Grand Duos always Hang even cannot restart or shutdown you have to take out the battery directly so you can start again .
Always try to think several times before purchase , your money is most valuable to you .

Hello.. I too have experience lag after updating to 4.2.2 .. but last night I installed Clean Master and cleared all junk item that I didnt know I have in my phone using CM apps.. now my phone works really well.. just for extra info.. after deleting junk item.. you may experience peak on your Ram..but don't panic..just off your phone for a while and on it back.. you'll see the difference. .

Ali, 10 May 2014Please Somebody Help I got The 4.2.2 Update on my grand, ... moredont update your phone. it wont brick your phone but the update will make your phone lagging and also your battery life will be reduced to 60% of what you are getting now. even i didnt listen to anyone and upgraded it. now i feel bad.
