Changing the settings for mobile data hobbles it to a point were it wont send message unless roaming data is turned on etc..
I plan on giving it a viking funeral, but even that is a compliment for this thing.

Check if your SIM Card work in other phones.
Or Flash a Stock ROM,depends what phone model you have(if you know what you do).
If none above work Hard Reset it.
Or go to Service.

I miss storage space and the sd card has been useless. Also i have had it for one year only and the battery is already failing to charge completely and it overheats.

This has been a good phone except it won't allow anything to be saved to the SD card. I'm constantly getting messages that I'm running out of storage space. It's time to get a new phone that will allow me to save to the SD card.

this Samsung galaxy grand prime phone sucks head phones get plugged in and the phone shuts off.. just had an issue with th phone turning off and would not turn back on for thirty or so minutes

One of the greatest Galaxy budget phones ever created. I got my Galaxy Grand Prime on 7-8 January 2015. Still using it and precisely posting this review from it. I use for about 45-50 mins of watching videos or playing normal games... I only go from 100% battery to 88-90%. Goes for easy 5-6 hours if used continously but can for a day or two with normal usage.
P.S. Never install Facebook, Twitter, and Fb Messenger apps. They lag and heat up your phones. Use browsers instead like Firefox or Chrome to visit Facebook, etc.
ANYONE THINKING TO BUY THIS AND IS ON A STRICT BUDGET. THEN THIS PHONE IS TOTALLY MEANT FOR YOU.
