No lollipop update?! Thanks Samsung, you thoughtless monster! This proves how much you actually care about your customers, releasing various versions of this phone, featuring lollipop, but leaving the initial model without any update. Shame!

I'm not a heavy gamer,I don't even play games just bought this phone for texting, internet and camera but too much slow and laggy hanging too much while surfing the web will not suggest to anyone. Camera is good but the phone is annoying

I have a samsung grand prime and I can't receive text messages but I can receive calls and I can send messages to others. My concern only is that I can't receive text messages. Why this happen?

We look at phone according to the present standard not when they are released. Galaxy Note 2 have become a mid ranger. Galaxy S3 is also a mid range now while S4 is an upper mid ranger. Mid range specs changes overtime. What we consider mid range now is 16gb internal memory, 2gb ram, 720p display, above 5 inch screen, snapdragon 615. Lower than that we call them lower mid range or low end.

very bad mobile always Hanging and not provide lollipop update as per promise.
I well never buy Samsung phone again. hate it totally wrost mobile.

It is said as low end bkoz of its price cut..just c xperia c3 a mid range performer...it has same specs as prime has but priced at 20k...that is d difff...all dis devices r very gud for a mediocore operator as it has 1 gb ram..

I just following the articles on grand prime which mostly written by reviewer in such a way indicating this is a low end device. They even use the word 'low end'. It is widely known as a budget friendly phone for teenagers in the US.

Excuse mee....Grand prime is not a cheap low end device..its a mid range device n can be compared with premium devices like A5 as both devices has same chip n same resolution cam....only downside is...prime has qhd display so we cant get a great view as A5 get....
