SAM, 01 Aug 2015I have bought this phone on 15th March 2015 and till now it... moreI have it since november last year. Working smoothly till now. No complain and never go back to the store to complain either. Love it. Though this year more powerful budget phone is available. Can't compete with latest phone. Grand prime was awesome for it spec last year but not this year.

Without using this phone, I can tell that this phone is a very good and robustly built phone for the average consumer. Good budget phone but as of today, there are other budget phones that are better for a bang for your buck (e.g. Moto G 2015).

Hello, I'm planing to buy this Samsung Galaxy, is this grand prime upgradable to android lollipop? Does anyone already getting it? Phonearna says this phone is running on lollipop 5.0.1 is that true?

Just a reminder and warning to you guys. IF you have installed CM Cleaner app in your phone it has an option to shortcut to camera from lock screen feature. But DO NOT enable it, because it will remove some of your effects in your main camera app in the rear camera mode. I have factory reset my phone just to bring them back..

Zeeshan Khan, 31 Jul 2015The phone is too slow because one GB RAM is highly insuffic... morethis phone is midrange so it will have less gb of RAM even 1gb RAM is not enough but i m using grand prime from day it was launched...never use cleanmaster RAM booster app or battery saver this all apps will hang only always clear RAM go to setting >application manager> running app close them all...

Ive got this phone for several months, its running better then my cousins samsung s5. My tip to clear chache... i also got 32gb sd card and transfered all apps on it so phone memory is only taken for system. You dont need any app for this you can do it in file menager. Cheers

The phone is too slow because one GB RAM is highly insufficient. Will not recommend this phone to anyone. Rest of the things like appearence , size ,colour is quite good.

The Lollipop update for grand prime is currently "DELAYED" source: 3rd party site. no official news on samsung and no ETA also. I guess we should just have to wait ;)

you cannot expect a high performance for this phone. stop complaining and buy another phone. this phone is a selfie focus smartphone. its not for multitasking, gaming, a heavy users like most of you complain. complaining about lags/hang u should know how to clear memory,data,cache and everything. if nothing happens. well this phone is not for you ;) ;) peace out

I have been using grand prime for 1 month and it works great. I didn't even face any lagging issue. Definitely it's a great phone in such a range. Don't know why people always put bad review about this phone.

I regret buying this phone. Lagging so much ang apps keep on crashing. I bought this last december to replace my old phone Samsung s duos 2. I shouldnt have. Coz my s duos 2 was better!
