Any performance / spee... moreMy Grand Prime was Kitkat 4.4.4. and I updated it to lollipop 5.0.2 and it's faster now and apps are not crashing anymore.Only problem is that sometimes wallpaper changes to a Samsung wallpaper but nothing special.I would definitly recommend an update to lollipop. :)

i guess...it will help your phone to run smooth...
go to settings》about phone》find build number》constantly hit 5 or 7 times on it ...it will unlock a new setting tool in setting which is developer option
back to serting option n open developer option ...find lyk animation scale setting ....there whr 3 options wth named animation scale ( default set with 1× sacale) turn it to animation off ....it will help u to boobs ur ram....i hope

I dont expect it to perform like a flagship with this low price. Great camera too. Infact, writing this from my grand prime.

Worst phone that i did use so far
Barely have it a year , its crashes all the time , barely wants to charge , whenever yr hands are a bit sweaty it is tripping the hole time.

It is a pretty good phone, but it did get slow quickly. The camera is amazing in the daylight, but as soon as it gets a little dark and there is a light in the picture, the whole thing is just a big bright blur.

We got the grand prime almost a year ago as an economy phone for young son. It has performed flawlessly and he loves it. If you are wanting a high end phone, this is not for you. If you would like a low cost phone that does what it is supposed to do, this is a great little phone.

Asrap, 20 Aug 2016Why my galaxy grand prime is not 4G line, i'm already chang... moreNot all Grand Prime phone compatible to 4G simcard, the older version of Grand Prime is upgradeable from KitKat to Marshmallow, but still it only allow 3G network. if you want to upgrade your network from 3G to 4G, you should buy the new version of Grand Prime..
