The rear camera work very well when outdoor (natural light), but if you use it indoor (low light+no flash) it's a little bit noisy.
For the front camera, you can say it's good enough for selfie.
The price is very affordable and Grand Prime is worth to try..

Back in that year the specs are pretty decent. But for 2016 this phone is like crap. That's why Samsung have Galaxy J series to replace it. Stop buying this phone people! You know you are going to complain like crazy a month later after realizing Samsung made better and cheaper midrange phone in 2016. I REPEAT, THIS GRAND PRIME IS MADE IN 2014!

If u want to live a life without any queries then never buy this phone....This is the worst phone in the industry.....It hangs 24/7 and is completely a fiasco...Samsung should have been sued for creating such a phone...

Overall this phone is great it lags every once in a while but besides that it is an awesome phone it has a long battery span, lightweight, and overall this phone is amazing I love it.

Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 suffers interruptions bluetooth when you open the browser or do other actions.

cant see screen,it doesnt work well with ford sync.lags four action buttons but no idea what the other 2 do.dont like commercials interupting my own music.ad link right beside play button.very difficult to shut down memory eating programs

Probably because you are outside of USA but you are using an american version of Samsung which does not support 4g !

Why my galaxy grand prime is not 4G line, i'm already change to 4g sim card and upgrade to lollipop os, but it show only 3g line..please help me anybody...

More than 16 months have passed since I havr been using this phone...and I think that its a fine device..
Hanging or lagging is not the issue..it depend upon the user...I think that after having just 1 gb of ram..its performance is good..

i have alredy use asmsung grand prime 4g at last 1 year
main problems for battery backup..& version was good working lolipop.
& see nice look

Awesome Phone!
I have been using this phone since March 2015. Recently I updated this to lolipop 5.0.1. Before update,this phone was like hell, was too much slow. But after updating this to lolipop, it is running smoothly and giving no problem at all. I am totally satisfied with my phone now. Thumbs up!

m having battery problm.. if i chrg my phn till 100% and after that i took off battery and again switch on my phn it shows low battery.
Almost heated on back side and hang as well, it stuck while playing games.
even though i use to update my phone in time, Device always shows "not enough space".

I hav updated my system from kitkat to lollipop 5.0.2 n I didn't get 5.1.1.
So anybody who updated to 5.1.1 can tell me how to update for 5.1.1 .
