Or you could upgrade by installing Samsung kies to your laptop/desktop and hooking your phone up with a data cable. If you use sammobile you will also need the newest version of Odin.

Don, 27 Jan 2016I still haven't received the android 5 update for this devi... moreUse Samsung Kies to install new android version. It does not really change much. A lot had complain that it have poorer though faster performance. They can't record in 1080p anymore. Video can't play in 480p max for youtube. Ram is absolutely better. Camera kinda a little blurry than last android version. The battery last longer though. Overall, faster performance but with some shortcomings. I never install the latest update. I just stating what others had said about it the past few months. Good luck.

Quad core, octa core or even deca core makes no difference but just increase in performance. It have nothing to do with lagginess. I recommend installing Facebook Lite version from Playstore. Turn off your phone at least once a week to refresh it. You can see what happened to laptop if you don't shut them down for over a week. It lag like crazy too.

Only money waste.. It always hanging problm.. If i conect with wifi its was very hang.. Dear people its not name grand prime its name is hanging cell phone.. I'm very disap0inted to pruchese this cell phone..

I've been using this phone a year now and Im having a problem with it. It always hangs, lag and even freeze everytime I open my facebook app and messenger. Cant even play Clash of Clans perfectly. Tss. Waste of money. Low RAM. All I want from this phone is its cam. Better look for some other phone with high Ram and an octa-core one to avoid lagging.

I have use this phone 2 months every features iz awesome but some days they should create a big software prblm hanging mostly and calling time restart if dual sims are open I'm very disappointed to buy this phone

awesome phone, good clarity of cameras, good enough display, stable network on 3G, fast response, no hang, no lag, good enough for mid-end range. worth for the price.

I have owned the Samsung Grand Prime for 7 months and love it. It's fast and has a good response time with no lag. I haven't had any problems with it. Good battery life and does everything I want. The 8 gigs of storage is adequate and I have lots of pictures stored but since I downloaded some maps, I am thinking of getting a micro sd card.

prerna, 24 Jan 2016I m so upset wid this phone...bought seven days back..n it ... moreJust seven days? That is not even worthy to look at as a complaint. I had been using it for over a year. No problem. Sure, the first week is a hassle to figure out the phone. After multiple configuration and altering in the setting I get by easily with it now. Blame your carrier for calls drop and missed call. Not the phone fault.

ive had this phone for a couple of months now and ive chosen to take it back under the warranty because it incredibly slow, constantly crashes and there is condensation under the screen, I am quite unhappy with this product
