I use this phone now almost a month. I like this phone. yeah though the ram is so low and sometimes instragram closing by itself and bbm is not responding when I close it. but my internal memory when I buy this phone is just 1.8 gb and in this site 4gb. are you have the same case as me?

Pls dont buy this phone. I have had it for about a month. The ram size 512 is too small.
Applications will just close on their own due to low ram memory.
Can not sync apps and games with Facebook cos of low memory, the phone will always terminate this process.
The so called powerful android browser cant upload images to any social network. Had to depend on opera mini to do that.
This phone totally sucks.
J1 is not worthy of me.

Works very fine. 3d games, hd videos, social media, etc. Helped me a lot during work. Im using j1 duos.

It is very slow and lazy mobile and very delay in open any new page. As well as mostly hang and stoped during using. Major problem iz that it cant play games well.
I wish to every buyer plez try to avoid it.
I m using this mobile from one month, but now i m very disoppointed.

Why is this a downgrade from its previous predecesssor. The original Galaxy J is way better than this. The first galaxy J was pretty much a 5 inch flagship with snapdragon 800 and android kitkat. It had Fullhd, 3gb ram, SuperAmoled display and 13mp rear camera. It even support OTG. That was awesome for a smartphone that was built back in 2013. Surprisingly Galaxy J beats Galaxy S5 display with its 441ppi display vs S5 432ppi.

j1 user here,i think its a good phone,just dwnload apps like du battery saver& speed booster,this unit will work well for not heavy users in games.
