Worst J series phone ever. Dont buy this phone. 512mb ram + dual core 1.2 ghz = cancer. Lags every time. Recommend to buy J1 2016 instead if you want similar and fixed specs . Or buy later versions like J3 J7 etc.

My samsung j100 is now completely dead after its os crashed giving me only an option to do a reset , after factory reset it was stuck on boot loop,.i did enter recovery mode to do wipe data , clear cache, it didn't work, so then tried to flash it and it didnt turn on.
Charging does not work.
No Power its complety dead.
Cannot enter Recovery.
Cannot enter Download Mode.
Battery is good, cable is good.

It's an absloute piece of shit. It lags when doing ABSOLUTLEY ANYTHING. Don't buy this phone, there is a lot of other options that are a bit more expensive, but you will get something atleast capable of watching Youtube at 360p. The biggest downside of this phone, other than the performance, is that some letters like "a" or "p" are not accessible because the edges of the screen are not very precise. I found myself very frustrated when typing. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE with atleast some self-respect

I Have too say I Just Got My For Christmas 25th Last Year and its fastest and i Believe everyone comments are a lie i found this phone to be great and lovely and its sexy bold stern looks case makes that fat look steps out very good i love it............

Got the J1 2015 & still loving it! “Entry level” smartphone is spot on. Does all the basics i need for a decent price. Very pleased. Don’t expect wonders, but if you just want to be able to browse the web, check emails & take medium quality photos, it is great.

I read a commend about a person that said the J1 is crap, no its not I drop my Samsung j1 duos in the water, after an hour I get it out after a long search for it. when I remove if from the water I removed the battery and the sim and left it in the sun. hours later I put the battery back and till now the phone work not even the battery is damage so to me is the Samsung J1 DUOS the best J1 series

it is a total piece of shit. it lags alot and even types crap by itself. extremelyyy slow and takes alot longer to open an app or load a page compared to sooo many other phones. samsung should be ashamed of creating such a shitty product. whoever who gets one is really unlucky and you should get an iphone instead.

All I see are complaints about a phone that costs less than 40.00 What do you expect? I think It's a great beginner phone! Yeah the battery doesn't stay charge and photos aren't great but of you want more than expect to pay more l will definitely buy another Samsung phone

I love my GalaxyJ1 I don't have any issues with it. It is my first phone that has internet capabilities I also love listening to music as well For the price I paid I am satisfied I have a card so I can store things Now that I know how to use one I might buy a better one. Will still stick with Verizon. Great service Thanks. Will start with Samsung too!
