This phone is very glitchy. Probably the most glitchy samsung phone I have ever owned. This is probably the most glitchy samsung phone ever made. Who in their right mind in 2015 decided to build an Android phone with lollipop and put 512mb RAM. Also one GB storage and only 256 megabytes available. Who does not put Facebook on their smartphone today. There should not be an Android phone today in existence with less than 1 gigabyte of RAM. An Android phone running lollipop with 512 Mb of RAM would be like Hummer coming back with the same fuel economy and a five gallon gas tank. This phone should have a recall for a ram upgrade. This is why the phone freezes and is sold at Walmart for $80

I have had this phone for a couple of months and I have had the strangest issues I have ever had with any cell phone I have owned. Do not update your text to speech because the keyboard or mic button has the tendency to stay on the bottom of the screen until you restart your phone. I will be on Facebook or right in the middle of typing a text message and BAM! Black screen. Also I will go on an application that requires internet connectivity and WTF Wi-Fi disconnected, Wi-Fi reconnected to such and such. I find that turning off my data when I'm on Wi-Fi may help but no other phone I have had has required me to do this. Best phone is so slow that you have to uninstall an application when you're done using it. Don't even bother moving your applications to your SD card this will only make the problem worse and the application will for some reason take up more then double the space and split part of it on the phone and part of it on the SD card. Have you ever got a phone case for this phone? Some of the cases made for the phone you better have a flat head screwdriver to pry it over the buttons very gently after you power the phone off. I have never had that much difficulty putting a phone case on. So Samsung please explain why you are giving us a 1500 mAh battery I'm sorry 1850mah about the same battery life for a screen that is essentially 5 inches take away a few millimeters. Also tell me what ever happened to the automatic brightness adjustment. I have not seen this feature since the proclaim / illusion. Are you losing sales on the S series phone or something? Taken away certain features are not going to make us buy the S phone any faster. Every time I am looking for a Samsung phone with all the features mine has. It's hours and hours of debating what features I want to give up. You are constantly shaving off RAM. I don't think your phones other than the S phone could get any slower and I don't think Samsung should continue shaving away features from phone to phone trying to force their customers to get Ann s phone. Not everybody has a $400 budget to buy a new phone with. Also not everybody has a budget to go to a contract so that they can pay over $150 for a $400 phone why they are paying $100 a month for their service instead of 50. Please build me an entry-level phone that has at least 80% of the bells and whistles of the S phone and make it under $150 better yet make it under $200 even or quit making phones. And just make s phone. When you release the s7 just quit making phones. Other than the S phone and compete with iPhone as that is the direction you are heading

Hello could anyone help me i got this phone 3 days ago and the wifi keeps kicking off and also facebokm has error and its very slow to load and when i am trying to download skype and check for updates it says error i only have facebook and messenget downloaded the rest are error please help

I bought this Samsung Galaxy J1 on the 12 September 2015 and am experiencing problems with is it's freezing and over heating. I think 512MB RAM it's too way low for this phone. Please increase it to 1GB RAM.
